I would just like to make a small note about college admissions:
While denouncing Affirmative Action in Colleges which I believe is unfair, I cannot ignore how many prominent schools such as Harvard or Yale are also unfair. Many expensive prestigious Universities are more likely to accept students if they have alumni relatives and almost always will accept students if these relatives are donors. Not only does this deny deserving and hardworking students of the finest education available, but donors, who are often well-off, can write this off their taxes and thus cheating the US overall. Universities need to something for at least these unfair admissions.
What is 'The Forum?'
The Forum takes its name from the ancient Roman Forum where issues, opinions, and news were argued, reiterated, and analyzed. Our mission is not to report, but to give the reader a in depth view on situations, events, and just about anything at hand. Feel free to read and comment about my usual summary of the NBA, analyzation of the upcoming election, or thoughts on the economy.
